Diversity Roundtable

The Diversity Roundtable is comprised of representatives from student organizations with missions that address cultural identity, diversity and inclusion, or social justice. The goal of the Roundtable is to encourage collaboration among diverse student groups, sponsor programs related to diversity for the student body and help students make their own meaningful connections across differences. Two of their most successful annual programs are DRT Gives Back, which recognizes the important work of a group of staff members on campus, and the international food and music festival, Richmond Goes Global, in the spring.

Common Ground funds member organizations that wish to collaborate with other student groups in ways that encourage relationship building. The activity can be a program to which the general population is invited, or simply creates an opportunity for group members to get to know one another.

The Roundtable meets every other week on Thursdays at 5:00 pm in THC 329 and is always looking to add new groups to its membership. Contact student coordinator Davina Adderley to get involved at to get involved.
